Abstract

When people fist directed their eyes to the inner heart of human beings from universe, humanist trend thus played an important role in the history of people’s thought. From Socrates to modern western social humanism, any sort of humanism and philosophical system developed their independent path, inheriting the developments of the previous people, generalizing social and time background, and at the same time exerted great effect on thoughts of the followersIn mid 19^th century, owing to the berth of non-rationalism, ration and will in human nature had changed their roles, rationalist is becoming a person of will, rational world had converted into a world of will, rational world had converted into a word of will. The variation started with Schopenhauer, a German philosopher, and later developed by his fellow philosopher Nietzsche, and the new humanism had produced greet wallop upon the traditional culture. German thinker and musical Wagner and his artistic philosophy had played a rather important rote in the change form Schopenhauer’s philosophy to Nietzsche’s philosophy. Richard Wagner is a voluntarism in behavior and a pessimist in thought, his thought and philosophy impenetrate into his music compositions. The essay commented the great effects on cultural trend by his artistic works and philosophy.
