Abstract

The plasma jet is a very important theoretical basis of the plasma spray process system , high-temperature plasma jet characteristics directly affect the quality of the actual spraying process , detailed study of the properties of high-temperature plasma jet to help us optimize various use the parameters to achieve the best results , so that the industrial use . Plasma jet plasma gun is a very complex process , which needs to do a lot of experiments , the heavy workload and the complexity of the experiment , difficult , and therefore must be by means of numerical simulation of the way to get more flow field information, and to solve the problems encountered in the plasma spraying process . Therefore , the plasma jet by numerical simulation method to simulate complex flow field of a plasma spray process has a certain theoretical and practical value . In this paper, both low and high temperature plasma jet , respectively, two simulation methods FLUENT and self-programming their numerical simulation . Mainly include the following : 1. Describes the basic properties of the plasma , including several characteristic parameters of the plasma : the average spacing of the particles , Landau length classic conditions and thin conditions , the presence of plasma conditions , the state equations and macroscopic equations provide a theoretical basis for the model of the plasma jet . Plasma spray jet phenomenon the 3D plasma jets simplified two-dimensional axis symmetric plasma jet , making five basic assumptions and mathematical control equation established on the basis of the plasma jet two-dimensional flow field . 3 describes the characteristics of commercial CFD software, FLUENT and problem-solving strategies and steps to use FLUENT inlet boundary conditions by changing the turbulence model and the speed of its numerical simulation , to verify the reasonableness of the turbulence model and boundary conditions for the low-temperature plasma jet . According to the basic idea of the two-dimensional CE / SE method derived the CE / SE method for solving two -dimensional Euler equations and Jacobian matrix through self-programming to take advantage of this method to simulate the high temperature plasma jet field analysis of the variation of the physical quantities .
