Abstract


Electrical Power plays an irreplaceable role in modern social production and living, and how to make use of it in a rational and efficient way is of vital basis for the economic development and social progress of Jiangxi Province. With the insufficiency of primary energy sources and low degree of self-sufficiency, the demand for electricity consumption is continually increasing with the fast development of economy. During the state of medium-term industrialization, the power consumption per-value added of high energy consuming industry in industrial structure is comparatively large. There is much space of improvement for the industrial structure. Therefore, it’s of vital and realistic significance to analyze the influence of economic structural adjustments on the electricity demand.Based on the detailed analysis of industrial structure and the changes in electricity consumption of the whole province since reform and opening up, this essay makes a prediction of the future electricity demand for the province by using the Linear Regression Model, indicating that with the yearly increase of power gap and the unreasonable structure of terminal power consumption departments, the optimization of industrial structure will play a positive role in decreasing the electricity power consumption.On the basis, this essay employs Grey Relational Analysis to analyze the influential degree of tertiary industry on electricity demand and Multiple Linear Regression Model to analyze the relationship between the tertiary industry added value and electricity consumption. At the same time, the Laspeyres Decomposition is applied to elaborate the structural factors and efficiency factors that impact the electricity consumption strength. Finally, this essay puts forward relative policy suggestions on how to coordinate the relations between the electricity demand of Jiangxi Province and the evolution and promotion of industrial structure.
