Abstract


\Domestic and foreign researchers from the initial single examine gender language differences in voice , word formation , vocabulary , and gradually turned to the study of men and women in different higher level , such as sentences , discourse and discourse . According to the American sociologist Sacks , Schegloff and Jefferson trio of Turn model English sitcom \differences. This paper uses statistical methods , taken with a random sampling four \the conversion gender differences . To facilitate the study , chosen as the subject of the session for two people ( a man and a woman , two men and two women ) dialogue . The analysis results show that both men and women in terms of voice volume and silence these two differences , there was no significant difference in interrupted and feedback language . Differences in the specific performance : ( 1 ) whether same-sex two dialogue or heterosexual two dialogue , the average male discourse are larger than females ; (2) in in heterosexual two people dialogue , women are more likely due to the other reaction into silence. In addition, it should be pointed out , in this article in Speech Communication and enrich the study of language and gender on this level , but there is still some limitations based on the following : ( 1 ) \mostly white middle-class , research materials mainly in English , this article is no exception ; (2) language sitcom is close to life , but , after all, different from natural language ; ( 3 ) \rather than men . I hope these points can be a reference for future researchers .
