Abstract


Software testing is an important means to ensure software quality and reliability, it is an important and irreplaceable role to play in ensuring software quality, modern software enterprises in order to improve their own competitiveness, inevitably more and more attention and enhance software testing. Software testing is a complex process, which runs through the entire project cycle, takes a huge human, material and time. Therefore, the software testing efficiently organized into the entire process of software management, software quality control programs; same time has been a part of the survival of the software testing, test cases and defect tracking. Therefore, with high-quality, comprehensive and practical test case management and defect management tools are essential to the success factors of software testing session and the whole project. TESTLINK MANTIS is a Web page form, without additional independent install the client can easily through IE, Firefox and other browsers to quickly log on to the system. Both management tools are popular at home and abroad, the two optimization will be more conducive to the process of the project quality control and test management to optimize the testing process and improve the purpose of the test cases, etc.. Clarify the role and significance of the software testing first to make a detailed analysis of the importance of the test case tools and defect management tools as well as the impact of software testing. Test case tools and MANTIS in TESTLINK defect tracking tool for the use of the status quo then they combine Hui Xun Software Co., Ltd., the formulation of the issues, the analysis the drawbacks which leads to the rectification of test cases and defect tracking tool demand. Actual analysis, data collection and research questions, and develop a series of functions to optimize the highlights. Asked the rectification program, both integration and optimization, including: using smart way new bug, reduce manual operation with related management and configuration of defects on TESTLINK, can be traced to defects in a timely manner and at the same time also MANTIS associated TESTLINK on the use cases to match the reference use cases and produce effective reports.
