Abstract


Along with the rapid development of the financial industry, many of our commercial banks to speed up the pace of listing, the the Banking market performance and investment value more and more attention. But also because of the profound lessons of the financial crisis, the development and reform of commercial banks more people are concerned about. Banking ability to create value evaluation, the paper selected in the theoretical and practical circles highly regarded economic value added (EVA) as a measure of the value of China's commercial banks. The introduction of EVA concepts and technologies for an accurate assessment of the value of China's commercial banks the ability to create, build the scientific internal value management system and respond to the challenges of full opening of the banking sector has a very important practical significance. EVA into account not only the debt capital, equity capital also considered, that the end result reflects the increase in the value of the part, and truly reflect the effect of the business. Fundamentally, EVA the capital efficiency indicators, which reflect the operating efficiency of commercial banks based on capital and risk management. EVA have been widely used in many European and American banks, the establishment of the EVA-core commercial bank management system. This paper first reviews the research results of domestic and foreign EVA effectiveness and value creation, and a more in-depth discussion on the EVA theory, from EVA origin, development, calculation and adjustment. And the EVA index and value creation linked to value creation assessment results show that the EVA has advantages. On this basis, we selected the first quarter of 2004 to 2010, China's 11 listed commercial banks as the study sample, and the factors that affect the value of commercial banks to create, build multiple regression model empirical analysis to explore to improve China's listed commercial value the ability to create the need for the reform measures. The empirical results show that: the main business income on behalf of the profitability indicators, and indicators of the proportion of shareholding of the top five outstanding shares in the company on behalf of the ownership concentration and executive compensation indicators for improving the EVA has an important role, and the asset-liability ratio, net profit growth rate and the number of the Board of EVA and no significant impact on the relationship. Finally, according to the results of empirical research, China's commercial banks to improve the value of the ability to create some of the comments and suggestions. And optimize and improve the internal governance structure of commercial banks from the banking market structure put forward more detailed proposals.
