Abstract


The Ming dynasty woodcut printmaking by the influence of the development of neo-confucianism in seems on the surface to be not close, unlike Confucianism of under the influence of traditional Chinese painting being so direct, compared with the traditional Chinese painting neo-confucianism brings to copy the influence of woodcut printmaking is indirect, often is the neo-confucianism influence the society fashion at that time, again by social prevailing in the role of woodcut printmaking, this is mainly due to the nature of their own printmaking. In the Ming dynasty Confucianism for the development of the influence of the Ming dynasty woodcut printmaking comes not from the print their own content and the scope of application, the special mention here is the late Ming dynasty scholar class participation woodcut printmaking creation.
