Abstract

Under field conditions, to the southern border of major sea island cotton (Gossypium barbadense L.) cultivars (lines) for the material, analysis of the growth and development of the entire growth period, assimilates accumulation dynamics and the laws and physiological and biochemical characteristics of the spatial variability of the water physiological indicators analyzed by statistical methods such as correlation and regression analysis, reached the following major findings: 1 island Mianmian plant growth process self-regulation ability, boll number per plant. The spatial variation of leaf area: Central gt; upper gt; the lower part of the performance of all varieties: YX-193 gt; AC-599 gt; XH-21 gt; XH-28. The load capacity of unit leaf area tended to increase with the growth period to promote. Leaf area index, photosynthetic potential showed a parabolic leaf area ratio, leaf dry weight ratio and relative growth rate showed a downward trend with the propulsion of the growth period, specific leaf area and net assimilation rate was multimodal curve. 2, Sea Island cotton assimilates accumulated change over time was \Total assimilates accumulated up to the maximum time required for performance: AC-599 gt; XH-28 gt; XH-21 gt; YX-193, AC-599, respectively, than the XH-28 XH-21 YX-193 late 4d , 17d and 23d, the duration of the rapid accumulation of YX-193, AC-599, XH-21, and XH-28, respectively, 58d, 83d, 64d, 74d, and respectively, in the post-emergence 83d, 94d, 86d, 93d into the vigorous growth period. Point of time t0 reproductive organs assimilates accumulation rate, YX-193, AC-599 XH-21 XH-28, respectively, after emergence, 120d, 135d, 124d, 130d, assimilates quickly accumulated duration of 43 to 44d, 63 ~ 64d, 48 ~ 49d, 54 ~ 55d. 3, Sea Island cotton leaf water potential is increasing with the rise of the leaf bit larger than the drought-hit plants and normal plants. Increased from 2.0% to 4.0%, 1% or 5% significantly affected by the drought than the normal irrigation of cotton leaves cell concentration, a significant level of concentration of leaf cells gradually decreases with increasing leaf position morning leaf cell sap generally low concentrations, noon, 14:00 to 16:00 reached the maximum, also decreased with the temperatures drop after 16:00. Normal irrigation of cotton plants in vivo tissue water content, relative water content was significantly higher than the drought-hit cotton plant, relative water content the critical saturation deficit is low, the water the natural saturation deficit and water demand degree. Transpiration rate change presents a single peak or bimodal trend, stomatal conductance and transpiration rate was being related, leaf temperature, atmospheric temperature, stomatal conductance and transpiration rate related to sex are to achieve significant or very significant level, stomatal conductance and transpiration rate The spatial variation in performance: the blooming period to down 2 or third leaf (playing top before) highest, as a demarcation point, decreases gradually increased with leaf position with leaf position declined sharply reduced. 4 SPAD value was increased and then decreased trend over growth period and peak boll period after, SPAD values ??began to decline with the aging of the plant. SPAD value with increasing leaf position changes available quadratic polynomial function relationship described in the same section bit leaves different periods SPAD value exists significant differences.
