Purpose: To measure the biomechanical properties of the cornea in patients with myopia and assess changes in biomechanical properties of the cornea and other eye biological relationship between variables and age , and to detect corneal biomechanical properties in ophthalmology clinical applications . Subjects and Methods: The ocular response analyzer 99 adult patients with myopia ( male 59 , female 40 , mean age 23 ± 4.1 years ) of any one of the corneal hysteresis (corneal hysteresis, CH), corneal resistance factor volume ( corneal resistance factor, CRF), corneal compensatory IOP (cornea-compensated intraocular pressure, IOPcc) and Goldmann IOP value correlation (Goldmann-correlated intraocular pressure, IOPg), corneal thickness measurement with central corneal thickness (central corneal thickness, CCT), axial length measurement with IOL-Master , by the automatic refractometer access to patient refraction and corneal curvature . Application unit and multiple linear regression analysis to analyze intraocular pressure , age, central corneal thickness , axial length and corneal biomechanical properties relationships. Results: Corneal hysteresis was 9.74 ± 1.37mmHg, corneal resistance factor of the amount of 9.55 ± 1.54mmHg. Linear regression analysis of the unit , the cornea and corneal resistance factor of hysteresis quantity and age, central corneal thickness and IOPg relationship between (P values ??were gt; 0.05), but they do not change with changes in corneal curvature (P = both gt; 0.05). Corneal hysteresis also with the axial length , refractive significant correlation exists between (P lt; 0.05), correlation coefficients were -0.262 and 0.222 , while the amount of axial corneal resistance factor , refraction no significant correlation between the number ( P gt; 0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis, except IOPg, corneal hysteresis with axial length , CCT and age changes. The amount of corneal resistance factor remains with age , central corneal thickness , IOPg and change . Conclusion: Corneal hysteresis and corneal resistance factor increased with CCT thinning and age increases. Corneal hysteresis with axial growth and decreased with increasing myopia and corneal resistance factor is not the amount of myopia with axial or changes .
