Objective: Investigation of the ICU hospital-acquired infections (Nosocomial Infection, NI) epidemiological rules , pathogens , nosocomial infection type and distribution , for the ICU nosocomial infection prevention and cure . Methods: collected in January 2007 - December 2009 were admitted to the ICU 7738 , in line with the clinical diagnostic criteria for hospital infection data for statistical analysis. While in some cases removed by standard . Screened 427 cases were retrospectively analyzed . After a review of medical history and hospital infection after the reunification of the registration form fill in the questionnaire . Survey content includes gender, age, primary disease , length of stay , infection date , predisposing factors , invasive procedures , antibiotic use , infection, pathogens and antimicrobial susceptibility . Statistical analysis was performed on the above data . Results: 2007 ~ 2009 visits ICU nosocomial infection rate of 5.52% infection , infection cases was 15.3 %, 3 years with a statistically significant difference in infection rate . Common sites of infection were respiratory tract , blood, the surgical drainage, incision, central venous catheter , urinary system, brain, pleural cavity , etc. Infection constituent ratio was 72.1 %, 9.4 %, 4.7 %, 2.7 %, 2.1 %, 1.4 %, 1.2%, 1.2%, ICU hospital-acquired infections pathogens ranking followed by Acinetobacter baumannii , Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Klebsiella pneumoniae .
