Abstract


With the explosion of the crisis and its domino influence, the shouting of“no dollar”surged. The international currency system of“USD basis”faces crisis. Under this background, non-dollar currencies in the world accelerate their internationalization progress, and internationalization of RMB also seeks new-w break. The cooperation of currency inside the district and a series of Bilateral Swaps Agreements express the claim of breaking the situation of”dollar is No.1”in the world. The problem of internationalization of RMB change to how to do and its previous focus in the academic and theories circles is“do or don’t”. How to do with internationalization of RMB is becoming a hot topic in the crisis. It is meaningful for this paper to research the necessity and possibility of internationalization of RMB in order to put forward effect strategy.Firstly, the text illustrates the definition and common theories of internationalization of RMB. Secondly, this paper analyses its necessity and possibility. The explosion of financial storm changes the international currency system and brings historical chance to RMB. Again, the paper analyzes its present situation and limiting factors. Drawing lessons from experience of internationalization of USD, Yen, Euro and pointing out that internationalization of RMB should base on the economy growth, keep financial open order, pay attention to the economy cooperation between countries. At last, the paper point out that inter-nationalization of RMB should be divided into three stages according to our nation condition, namely periphery internationalization, Asia internationalization and internationalization and put forward concrete policy measures for every stage.
