Abstract

With the increase of population as well as the quick development of globalization and urbanization, people’s demand for the land increases accordingly and kinds of problems related to the utilizing of the land emerge. The thesis studies on land environment capacity in the city of Chongqing. The study is arranged as follows:the object of the study—the relationship between human beings and the food, and human beings and the land; the assessment of land environment capacity—to measure and calculate the situation of land environment capacity in Chongqing’s districts and counties. Lastly, the theory of the intensity of the land’s exploitation is to be employed to analyze the distribution of land environment capacity in Chongqing, and then to make out the researching method for regional land’s exploitation plans.The study content for the research in the thesis related to land environment capacity and the distribution includes the following aspects:1.To interpret the related concepts of environment capacity and land environment capacity starting from the point of view of environtology and combining with the progress of related study both at home and abroad, and propose the statement researches on environment capacity should base on three aspects:the carrier of capacity, the object of capacity and the rate of capacity.2. To interpret the regional development plan of One-Circle Two-Wings in Chongqing by setting researching background on land environment capacity and the distribution of regional land.3.The present utilizing situation of the land in Chongqing and the existing problems in the land’s utilizing are both analyzed. The exploitation of the land in Chongqing is major in forest land and minor in cultivated land, various in the total amount of land resource, but the conflicts between population and space distribution of land are extrusive. It can be explained the low intensive exploitation of construction land leads to the structure loss of land environment capacity.4. According to that, the author builds the assessment of land environment capacity in Chongqing concentrating on land’s producing environment capacity and land’s space environment capacity referring to integrated carrying of land environment. The chosen targets of integrated carrying of land environment refer to five aspects in environment, population, society and economy, and assess those in AHP. The following step is to investigate land’s producing environment capacity based on the relationship between human beings and the food and assess land’s space environment capacity relying on the relationship between human beings and the land. Finally, GIS is employed to do space analysis of environment capacity in Chongqing.5.Referring to the study on the distribution of the land, the theory of the intensity of the land’s exploitation is to be employed to build the land’s utilizing distribution model to collocate for small bore and big bore separately.6. The appropriate allocation for the land and suggestions are to be proposed to distribute land environment capacity e in Chongqing.
