"Landscape Design" is a professional course set in some related major in vocational and technical education. Because students must first understand the basics, so the teaching can enable students to review and integrate the basic courses such as botany, trees, science, floriculture, landscape drawing, landscape history, ecology and many other professional ones and then integrate the comprehensive knowledge into practice using , it truly reflects the meaning of“from theory to practice”. Therefore, the significance of this teaching is great. At the same time, through the "Landscape Design" course, allowing students to master a professional skill, thereby increasing their vocational competitiveness; and giving a positive influence in their personal aesthetic-building. If the students work as landscape designers after graduation, they will play a certain role in aspects of social life such as the urban development, urban planning and landscaping, protection of environmental and ecological, etc. Therefore, the project has a far-reaching social significance.This article will carry out research and teaching from the course’s content, teaching methods, course structure, setting, hours arrangements and other aspects in "Landscape Design" , and the research will connect with the actual teaching situation of myself , learn from a great deal of domestic and foreign literature materials and success teaching examples , pay full attention to the related areas in research trends and results, to summarize a more complete teaching system from these jobs. I will also visit some employers in related areas to understand their thoughts and needs in recruitment; visit the relevant professional and vocational college courses to understand the setting situation of the curriculum. In addition, some graduates’s working development will be tracking -studied to analyze the rationality and feasibility in curriculum setting , teaching content and methods, and make timely and appropriate teaching adjustment programs. To find out a teaching mode which not only adapt to the vocational students but also adapt to the market demand, carrying out a targeted teaching .
