Determination of serum HSV type Particularity Antibody in patients with genital herpes and epidemiology in Changchun Objective To understand the infection of herpes simplex virus-1 and herpes simplex virus-2 of patients with genital herpes in changchun ,and to analyse the epidemiology.Methods HSV-1 and HSV-2 serum antibodies were detected by ELISA method in patients from sex outpatient, in which 530 cases were diagnosed to genital herpes patients, these patients were made detailed records.Result There were 311 men (58.68%) and 219 women (41.32%). 60 patients were HSV - 1 IgM antibody positive (11.32%), and 471 patients were HSV - 1 IgG antibody positive (88.87%).There were 213 cases with HSV - 2 IgM antibody positive (40.19%), while 349 cases were HSV - 2 IgG antibody positive (65.85%). The age range was from 21 days to 88 years old, there were 210 cases (39.62%)at the age of 31~40, and 21 ~ 30, 41 ~ 50, 51 ~60 ,younger than 20 years old ,older than 61 years old were the followings in turn. There were 89 freelance workers and 82 migrant laborers. 374 patients were caused by the extramarital sexual behavio(r70.57%), 103 cases (19.43%) by spouse sex ,and indirect or mother-to-child transmission were 53 cases (10.00%). There were 167 cases without vesicles now in the external genital organs, accounting for 31.51%. The genital or anal around places of 363 patients had the vesicle, ulcer, erosion, besides chancre, chancroid or Behcet syndrome which could cause genital ulcers, accounting for 68.49%. Primary patients were 304 cases (55.85%) and recurrent patients were 226 cases (44.15%), which frequently recurrent patients were 85 cases (16.04%).Conclusion Genital herpes patients were primarily infected by HSV - 2 in Changchun region . Female were more recently infected than male. Genital herpes patients at age of 21 ~ 40 ,who had more sexually activities ,were high-risk groups. Recurrent patients were mainly freelance workers or migrant workers, who were infected primarily by the premarital sex behavior. HSV - 1IgM, HSV -2IgM antibody positive rates were in the highest proportions of new-onset patients, recurrence patients (<6 per year) had mainly HSV - 2 IgG antibody positive.
