Abstract

Qiqi Rong, Zengzi and Mencius, all of these three people lived in the city of Jining in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States period. Each of them respectively expounded their human life thought from the angle of intuition, emotion and esthetic with the wish of attaining“Three Le”in life. From the aesthetic point of view, this text tried to elaborate the thoughts of“Three Le”proposed by the three people, considering the subject of its’aesthetics is the“happiness sensation of aesthetics”.This paper consists of six parts:General introduction mainly introduces Chinese philosophers’traditional concerns about emotional or spiritual phenomenon, and draws the concept of the“Le”of aesthetics.The first chapter introduces the thought of "three Le" proposed by Qiqi Rong, Zengzi and Mencius respectively. Respecting the fact that little is known about Qiqi Rong at present, detailed analysis about his life is emphatically carried out.In the second chapter the author analyses the foundation for his thought of“Three Le", believing that the thought of "Three Le" philosophically based on people’s consciousness of identity and awareness of the fact that music can purge people’s minds. The psychological foundation of“Three Le”is to emphasize“harmony is beauty”,“interplaying between morality and longevity”, and“contrasting morality”. The social foundation of it is the rising of intellectual class and the concern on the moral world.The third chapter is the main body of this paper which interprets the subject of aesthetics revealed by the thought of“Three Le”. The thought of“Three Le”indicates the subject of“the happiness sensation of aesthetics”in four aspects:1. Humanistic concern To take a close look at the world and enlighten people in the world. 2. The awareness of detachment to live happily and passed away peacefully; practice a sermon and content in one’s poverty.3. Mental chase to discard fame and gain and cultivate one’s mind.4. Trend of the filial piety inherits the will of progenitors and brothers live healthily.Chapter four analyzes the limitation of the thoughts of Qiqi Rong, Zengzi and Mencius. Qiqi Rong laid emphasis on the aspect of perceptual intuition. Zengzi emphasized on filial piety and fraternal duty, and Mencius paid close attention to indwelling moral shaping of people and the spirit of principle personality. There are obvious draff in the thoughts of Mencius and Zengzi. Both of them took so excessive interest in indwelling moral shaping that they are considered to divorce from normal social environment.In the conclusion, the author appeals, in the present situation in which human nature is contrasted by material desire and people feel more lonely and anxious, it is much better for us to goes through life in a happy-go-lucky fashion.
