From the beginning of photography arts, fashion photography has been the most indispensible and important part,In the view of development in contemporary Weston fashion photography history, fashion photography has been given more connotation and intension. Nowadays, fashion photography has been the firsthand source in reflecting the human’s life styles, behaviors and beliefs.In this paper, it is summarized the fashion photography has experienced different stages of development and evolution, and the formation of the current fashion photography styles in different ways, which based on the history of fashion photography, and an analysis of the works by famous Weston fashion photography master. However, in the influence of painting and post-modern culture, there are many differences between Eastern and Weston in history, cultural, photography theme, technique and aesthetic views. Nowadays, contemporary fashion photography not only focus on clothing, but also focus on human living styles, behavior standards, cultural, political, economic carrier and beliefs .In our country, development of fashion photography is still in its infancy. It has not been formulating its own system and style. Through the study of Western fashion photography, this paper will show some suggestions and advises to the relevant people, which can promote the development of China’s fashion photography.
