Abstract


Vocabulary teaching is an important part of foreign language teaching . The vocabulary teaching students successfully be able to help students enhance the quality of the language used . Language is the carrier of culture , culture is the core of the language , play a decisive role in the use of language . English vocabulary teaching vocabulary cultural connotations into the teaching of English vocabulary teaching , to great effect on the ability to improve students' language vocabulary and English vocabulary teaching efficiency . Import vocabulary teaching cultural knowledge in order to improve the efficiency of vocabulary learning or imported in the teaching of reading and cultural knowledge to improve the reading ability of research has yielded fruitful results , and there are a large number of studies have shown that the culture of reading training emphasis on import students' vocabulary acquisition the most effective means . However, from students to attach importance to the perspective of cultural information reading strategies to improve student vocabulary acquisition capability study also rare . The study through quantitative and qualitative research , a clear emphasis on reading strategies of cultural information students can improve college students ' English vocabulary proficiency , especially in the depth of vocabulary Vocabulary Acquisition feasibility reading strategies training teaching patterns and related recommendations . First, we reviewed the literature of vocabulary teaching and research at home and abroad , then the status quo of college English vocabulary teaching college English teachers reading strategies training to promote the teaching of English vocabulary for further empirical research through the import of cultural information . The three - month teaching experiment , through an experimental class and a control class in the secondary vocabulary test on the basis of the analysis of experimental data using spss prove the experimental classes and control classes there were significant differences in the use of vocabulary ability . The results of this study show that in the English vocabulary teaching reading strategies training emphasis on the import of cultural information largely promote the Students' Vocabulary Learning .
