Abstract


\In view of this, we tried to conceptual metaphor in cognitive linguistics within the framework of the Analects of Confucius \Yang Bojun the \the ontological metaphors three categories , and conducted a detailed analysis of the similarities between its source and target domains . The results are as follows : 1 ) \2 ) Orientational Metaphors \for the next . 3 ) ontological metaphors the abstract concept of \4 ) Metaphor and social culture of the period in which the relevant artifacts Metaphorical : structural metaphor ; the orientational metaphor of feudal hierarchy thought ; ontological metaphors Confucius \5 ) Confucius thought both unique and positive significance, but also its limitations . 6 ) metaphor addition to scholars usually think outside the specific mapping abstract , there are still specific mapping specific abstract mapping abstract two different metaphors . Although this analysis did not cover all the metaphors in the book , but the thought of Confucius and Chinese cultures metaphor mode and metaphor operation mechanism expand research , I hope this study of foreign language translation of the \conceptual metaphor theory analysis of other ancient texts have some inspiration and reference .
