Abstract


In this paper, the theory of diaspora ethnic support comparative analysis of two Chinese and Western writer Jia and Thomas Hardy 's novel \\Analysis of the four protagonists seeking to develop in different places at the same time also deeply worried about his hometown . In the novel \so that they miss home OK . Dealt with \, while the latter was born in the relatively bustling bud mouth until the death of their parents to settle the wilderness , lifelong yearning for the bustling city life , dreaming of escape wilderness . In this paper, the theoretical support of diaspora ethnic detailed analysis of the homes of four characters complex and to further explore Jia Ping'ao Hardy theme in his works show homes underlying causes . The author believes that the reasons for the changes experienced by three of their own ethnic diaspora identity , social transition and during this period the spiritual emptiness for the pursuit of the spiritual home . By a comparative analysis of two different cultural backgrounds , show complex novel of the same home , the paper aims to reveal the social transformation during human facing a serious spiritual crisis and the urgent need to find a spiritual home . With the transition to the social changes , the human need to quickly adjust self to adapt to new developments , or will pay a heavy price .
