Abstract


In recent years , the study section has been a hot topic . The motivation of pursuing graduate of the college students also aroused extensive attention of scholars , but the existing research has focused on the motivation of pursuing graduate influencing factors analysis and description , but the lack of motivation for the study of the formation process . This study attempts to self-regulation on the basis of previous studies , from motivation theory theory perspective , the motivation of pursuing graduate study for college students . On the basis of the literature , to participate in the 2009 , 2010 , 2011 Graduate Entrance Examination 16 students as the research object , through in-depth interviews , analysis of the construction process of their motivation of pursuing the type of motivation . Detailed and in-depth analysis of the interview data obtained following exploratory conclusions : First, the motivation of pursuing a dynamic process of constructing . Can be divided into four basic areas, namely the imbalance of demand , cognitive choices , behavior and feedback regulation and sustained . These four areas are interrelated and overall interaction . Second, the motivation of pursuing a complex complex . Types are diverse , and can be divided into the development of responsibility , to prove , interest , compensation and escape of six types ; motivation of pursuing the structure is complex , the complex factors that affect the motivation of pursuing graduate . Third, the motivation of pursuing different will bring a different result .
