Ideological and political education in higher vocational education is relatively loose in content which can not highlight the ideological and political characteristics of vocational schools, educational effect is relatively shallow which can not produce a lasting and profound impact, education carrier is too dull which can not stimulate students’interest and enthusiasm to participate, and there are other issues which caused certain confusion for ideological and political education in school. To improve the effectiveness and pertinence of ideological and political education, it has becoming many higher vocational colleges’ efforts direction to positively explore an effective carrier for ideological and political education. Learned from the practice of corporate training, team training has become the carrier for ideological and political education in vocational schools, and widely used in many ways, the carrier, which is derived from team training, has a good task-driven effects, environmental impact, interpersonal effectiveness and stimulated to potential.This article aims to explore ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges where take team training as the carrier, studied from the contents, method, path, impact evaluation and some other aspects.The introduction of the paper mainly focused on the background of the issues and the relevant studies at home and abroad, and defined the concept of team, team training and carriers, etc.Team training is of obvious significance to the ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges.From the theoretical significance of view, firstly, provided references for ideological and political education as well as student management. Secondly, to promote the ideological and political education and self-education combination. Thirdly, it serves as a regular pattern for the target of ideological and political education to accept.From the practical significance of view, firstly, extended contents and methods of the ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges; provided help and guidance for class management, helps students adapt themselves to college life in dormitory as well as in the classroom and other group lives. Secondly, stimulated students to participate in society group, science and technology competitions, professional skill training and other team activities like entrepreneurial innovation, highlighted the professional direction and experiential forms of ideological and political education. Thirdly, combined self improvement and promoting team building, thus to improve the training of professional competency of the students.The first part of the paper describes the theoretical basis of the student team training in higher vocational colleges. Applied Marxist theory of knowledge and references to experiential education theory and the theory of social interaction, meanwhile fully applied these theories and implications into team training activities.In the second part of the paper, narrated the connection between team training and ideological and political education. Mainly focused on four aspects:Firstly, the practical requirements of the team training in higher vocational colleges; secondly, the value of team training in ideological and political education for students; thirdly, analysis on the path of team training as a carrier; fourthly, explored the main contents of team training.Third part of the paper, mainly introduced the implementation of ideological and political education carried upon team training. Including the project design, training method, implementation procedure and organization and management of team training in higher vocational colleges.In Fourth part of the paper, introduced evaluation of the effect of team training for the purposed of ideological and political education, emphasized on the integration model and method system of effect evaluation and take the team training in Chang Zhou College of Information Technology as an example, analyzed in detail of the implementation process of the effect evaluation for team training.
