Abstract


The wave of globalization spread throughout the world since the nineteen eighties which can have a profound impact on trends of the world economy, politics and culture. It is means that China take the initiative to join the ranks of globalization along with China’s accession to the WTO. This phenomenon is not only for our opportunities but also challenges. The influx of Western thought, to the physical and mental immaturity of young people brought no small shock, some young blind pursuit of Western lifestyles and values, played down the idea of national consciousness and culture, and its patriotic education has been severely affected, patriotic education of young people there is not strong practical problems.Therefor, it is become an urgent significant problems that how to understand the teenagers’patriotism education challenges and how to improve the effectiveness of the teenagers’patriotism education.This article is divided into four chapters, after the founding of the first chapter reviews (1949-20 end of the century) to carry out patriotic education situation in youth, mainly in the line in 1978 divided into two periods, two periods were described patriotism Content, reviewed the two effects of patriotic education among children and youths; The second chapter describes the new century youth patriotic education practices, including the new century, the meaning of patriotism, characteristics of the times and in the new era of patriotism and patriotic young people under the guidance of the status quo and analyzed the impact of patriotic young people Effectiveness of the reasons for Humanistic Education, and then put forward to improve the effectiveness of education young people need to patriotism; The third part describes the return of Hong Kong for 14 years to carry out patriotic education in the state, summed up the characteristics of patriotic education in Hong Kong, and find can learn from; The final chapter is on the basis of the previous two chapters, both from the content and methods proposed to increase the effectiveness of youth patriotic education related measures.
