Abstract


The 21st century cities and culture is a marriage of historically inevitable, urban development trend towards culture from function city will city. The museum as social attention of public cultural organizations, as urban historical chronicler and show, who is also the important city culture, not only for the city bearer records in the past, but also for city retained today, and contact and display the relationship between history and reality, the museum this one character determines that it will be of urban culture of active participants and facilitator. China’s rapid development, the city museum career in a rapidly rising trend museum quantity, at present, many cities have several even several dozens of different types of museum, but throughout the city of museums present situation, the constantly pursue quantity growth without considering the reasonable planning, museum unbalanced development, making the museum for the social public cultural service quality in uneven level. At the same time, along with the continuous development of the economy, residents in so as to gradually meet material life and cultural life presents gap. Constructing city museum group, combined with city public space, promote museum multifunctional construction, create urban cultural environment of "place feeling", make have culture connotation and local features and become truly reflect city character card and residents’ cultural recreation areas.
