Abstract


In the modern society, technology is just like a“double-edged sword”, which not only brings the great advances and prosperity to the society, but also causes various crises, such as ecological crisis, social crisis, identity crisis of human-being, etc. People have to re-examine the conflict between technology and society, and think the problems caused by technology.Culture is a kind of understanding about people their own and the world they living, including the activities of the metaphysical, universal view of the world and values which control people’s life. Culture not only records the human life and social phenomenon, but transfers the knowledge and information and it is the way of communication with each other in human society. Culture plays an important guiding role in the technological and social activities human involved in. Humanistic environment and culture background exert a profound influence on the contemporary technology problems. It is valuable to analyze the“technology and social”issues from the cultural perspective.Through the investigation of the different view about“technology and social”issues in the existing research theory, this paper uses all sorts of culture functions to discuss culture. Finally it points out the path of cultural construction to solve the technical problems, which indicate the processes of technical social cultural construction reserving the cultural value concept, and keeping close to the reality and technology.It is a progress of update that cultural transformation of technology proposes for solving technical problems for human. Various conflicts in technological society cannot be solved only by technical updates. People need to replace human spirit of self-communion, correct it value orientation, and cooperate the value orientation of human wisdom, and then get out of the dilemma the technology brings.
