Abstract


The purpose of understanding the Hubei Province, adolescent reproductive health status and sexual behavior factors to provide a scientific basis for further exploration of adolescent sexual and reproductive health services and education. Methods Field Epidemiology, cluster sampling the Wuhan, Macheng 15 schools from 8 to 21-year-old student, their physiological development, reproductive health-related knowledge, psychological and behavioral questionnaires. All information use SAS9.1 descriptive analysis, χ2 test, t test and logistic regression analysis, statistical analysis. Results valid questionnaires 5771, its 1155 people in primary and secondary schools, junior high 2709, high school 1907, the male to female ratio of 1.18:1. (1) youth development status: menstrual menarche half the age of 12.47 years old, first spermatorrhea half age of 14.25 years old, Wuhan compared Macheng ahead of 0.79 and 0.21 years, respectively. (2) knowledge of situation: girls cognitive status better than boys, the Macheng young people lack the knowledge of pupils of all knowledge of the correct answer was less than 50%. Young people the best ways and knowledge about pregnancy, the correct rate is higher than 60% of the spread of AIDS; spread the correct understanding of the pathways and other common sexually transmitted disease is only about 40% of non-AIDS; contraception knowledge and understanding of the worst, the correct rate of less than 40%; ③ psychological condition: nearly half of young people can be aware of menstruation / wet dream is a normal physiological phenomenon; age gradually increased the level of acceptance of the young people of the opposite sex, the reaction tends to open the media love; on love with others of the same age and sex attitude of a more tolerant, open boys than girls. ④ behavior: 1.68% teenagers reported having sexual intercourse, and one report had the abortion; sexual assault rate of 5.74% and 20.36% of the young people can not tell the confrontational against 26.21% lack of denial of ability. ⑤ influencing factors: Logistic regression analysis may lead to young people having sex risk factors are smoking, drinking, father talk about puberty with physiological knowledge, that the opposite sex like dealing with their own, never or seldom rejected the unreasonable demands of others, and in favor of secondary school students such as sexual behavior. Conclusion Hubei Province adolescent puberty ahead of trends, lower level of knowledge about reproductive health, sexual attitudes tend to open, a low incidence of sexual behavior. The main factors that affect their sexual behavior occurred including drinking and so on their own factors, family and peers, social and other factors, it is necessary to be systematic, comprehensive reproductive health education for young people, to improve their level of reproductive health.
