Abstract

It has long been the groundwater system as impermeable layer of clay layer, but with the flow of groundwater development in Vietnam migration phenomenon, people realized that was not absolutely impermeable impermeable layer, in many cases can be considered aquitard. For chemical elements in the aquitard migration law of a late start, has been the weak point of the study. Groundwater pollution prevention and remediation techniques, usually in clay as a contaminant migration interdiction block walls or impermeable layer, in a certain osmotic pressure, the clay may be permeable, and water pollution may also penetrate the clay mass layer adjacent aquifer contamination. Therefore, the migration of pollutants in the clay in strength, migration behavior, migration of groundwater pollution control and management become an important research question. Domestic and foreign research results show that the migration of contaminants in the clay sand migration law and the law in some differences, mainly because there are a lot of clay bound water. Therefore, I first studied present in the clay bound water in the formation law, both common contaminant in groundwater ammonia, nitrate, sulfate, chloride, chromium ions five common types of pollutants object to carry out research, research is divided into the following sections: 1 through volumetric flask experiments to study the different pollutant immersion, combined with the formation of water features. 2 through the penetration test, the concentration of pollutants, consolidation pressure, osmotic pressure and influence on the permeability coefficient of solute. 3 through penetration test, revealing several different pollutants in the saturated clay vertical permeability occurs when the clay block effect. Through the above experimental study, full understanding of the pollutants in the saturated clay layer migrate vertically penetrate the transformation mechanism and concentration variation for groundwater pollution prevention and rehabilitation to provide the necessary reference. Flask test results show that: the surface of soil particles with the water in the formation process, the adsorption will vary with the water content gradually increase the extension of time, period of time close to given value, remains unchanged adsorption limit is reached ; solute is not the same, the surface of soil particles bound water content size is: distilled gt; tap gt; kno gt; ammonium chloride. This results indicate that the presence of the solute has been formed with some of the water is released into the free water out of soil particles resulting in decrease in the content of bound water. Consolidation - osmotic pressure meter penetration test results showed that: infiltration of water penetration in the clay layer, the infiltration rate and hydraulic gradient corresponding relationship is not linear relationship, but increases linearly at the beginning of a trend, a certain hydraulic gradient, the increase faster. When the hydraulic gradient exceeds a certain limit after the penetration speed is becoming flat, the last nearly constant. This shows that with increasing hydraulic gradient, clay in the presence of water by the weak binding partially converted to whole transformation process. Over hydraulic gradient limit value, the stronger the particle surface with no conversion of bound water, seepage no longer with increasing, resulting in no increase in osmotic flow, but approaches a constant value; different solid soil samples Results pressure - permeability coefficient curve trend is consistent both with the permeability coefficient of consolidation pressure increases. Permeability coefficient and consolidation pressure was polynomial relationship between the two. Different clays clay content, the relationship of constant type; as osmolarity increases, increasing permeability coefficient, and are in the same order of magnitude, the magnitude of permeability coefficient is changed; chlorine ammonium and nitrate penetration speed will increases as the concentration; permeability test results show that the test conditions are the same, the water permeability coefficient is slightly larger than the permeability coefficient of the permeate contaminants described for soil blocking effect of water is less than the blocking effect on the solute, soil-water interaction between the different components of the water and the migration of different levels; trial three soil samples for ammonium ion effect is obvious interdiction , sulfate ions in the three soil samples Mobility in comparison with the ammonium ion is relatively strong, indicating that the combination of different solutes in water-filled clay in mobility are different; leachate contamination in soil group of a certain blockade, the 3rd clay right ammonium ion adsorption effect is far better than 1,2 soil samples, indicating that clay layer blocking effect on pollution intensity component soil clay content, dry density was positively correlated, negatively correlated with porosity.
