Abstract


Vocabulary in English learning plays a crucial role . Junior high school English vocabulary is mostly core vocabulary , but also lay a solid foundation for language learning key . However, due to the limited capacity of the rural middle school students learning English , English proficiency is low, difficult to remember words , forgetting rate is one of the most troublesome problem students . From the perspective of psycholinguistics , rendered in vocabulary teaching has a very important role , and reasonable presentation can improve vocabulary acquisition results. Therefore, to explore effective vocabulary presentation, to study how to improve through effective presentation of students' vocabulary memory effect has practical significance. This study adds depth processing hierarchy theory and based on the theory by experiment , tested three different words produced by the different presentation of English vocabulary memory effect . Select the 60 experiments was tested in rural junior high school sophomore , 10 English words as experimental material . Test subjects received two tests were used for each vocabulary word presentation render target for ten minutes after the short-term memory test, and a week later for the long-term memory tests. Then using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS 13.0 version ) on the test data for statistical processing . Based on the experimental findings and correlation analysis, the following conclusions: ( a ) in the junior high school English vocabulary teaching, presentation and vocabulary memory effect close relationship between the different vocabulary presentation will produce different memory effect ; ( 2 ) For the rural junior high school students who , through the provision of sentence glossary presents the best memory of words , better use of the presentation context ; ( 3 ) due to the rural junior high school English learning conditions limited English proficiency is low, although the first inference target words meaning longer provide meaningful presentation context , the word forgotten slowest and is not suitable for presentation in the classroom words .
