Abstract


The decorative arts of traditional houses in not only an important part of residential construction,but also traditional Chinese culture.The district of Zhengzhou has an important geographical location,and its Humanistic environmentis unique.It is said that old China was divided into nine parts:Jizhou,Yanzhou,Qingzhou,Xuzhou,Yangzhou,Jingzhou,Yuzhou,Liangzhou,Yongzhou in the book of“Yugong”in“Shangshu”.Zhengzhou is included in the geographical area of Yuzhou,which was used to be center of culture in the long history and inward focus of Chinese traditional culture.The study of it will help to gain a deeper understanding of the artistic intension of our traditional culture,and it can also help to absorb the essence of traditional culture.A longer inheritable culture of art plays a very important role. Following my respected tutor,I have gong deep into every county of Zhengzhou and made a comphehensive system of research of decorative art of traditional houses.It makes me have a deeper level of awareness and understanding of decorative art in the region.The paper is divided into eighth chapters,detailing natural and humanity environment,customs,the art of architectural elements,the craft architectural techniques,the subject content of architectural decoration in the district of Zhengzhou,and the decorative art of Traditional Residential Architecture performance techniques and artistic styles are summarized and analyzed,summed up in residential buildings of Zhengzhou traditional art decor style features;to the central plains typical traditional residential compound Xingyang Qin’s family analysis;the paper sublimate decorative art of traditional houses to the deeper conceptual level of philosophy and culture,at last it summarizes the value of studying the decorative art of traditional houses in the district of Zhengzhou ,and a reasonable view is given on how to protect and Inherit the decorative art of traditional houses.As a mark of the past time, decorative art of residential architectural gives people a large number of informations on geographical,historical,economic,cultural, and folklore,which become valueable data.The research direction of this paper is mainly protect and Inherit the decorative art of traditional houses in Zhengzhou,dissecting the causes of decorative art to a profound degree is the main idea of his paper.Elements of traditional art by for further,draw the essence of traditional culture,to serve.
