Abstract


Objective: By formulating a science plan (form) on myoma of uterushysterectomy pathway, implement, to assess its effect on myoma ofuterus hysterectomy pathway mode in deducting the average hospitalizeddays and hospitalization costs, improving the satisfaction of patients,standanding and excellent the medical care programmers, improving thequality of medical and nurse care, improving hospital social and economicbenefit.Methods: Based on a retrospective survey on 109 patients of myoma who receiveduterus hysterectomy in a First Class of the third Grade Hospital in Shanxiprovince during January 2008 and December 2009 ,we formulated the form of myomaof uterus hysterectomy pathway and computed the standard hospitalizeddays in statistical and expert consulation method on the basis of hospitalclinical situation. One hundred and one cases who were treated with myoma ofuterus hysterectomy pathway and a control group of one hundred and one casesfrom January 2010 to December 2010 were studied by computation analysis andthe variance that happened during myoma of uterus hysterectomy pathway was also analyzed. Different statistic methods including document reading,interview, SWOT analysis evidence-based policy analysis and comprehensivequality management were used in myoma of uterus hysterectomy pathway from formulation and practice. The general descriptive statistics,T-test ,chi-spuare test and rank sun test methods were used to assess theeffect of myoma of uterus hysterectomy pathway.Results: After comparison of the cases who were treated by myoma of uterushysterectomy pathway with a control group of the study indicates that thenumbers of in-hospital days, the days between admission and operation reducedin the group of implementation; The average cost of the total expense inhospital, the cost of drug, the cost of surgical operation, the cost ofexamination , the cost of accomodation and the other costs also were reducedin the group of implementation .There were the significant statisticaldifferences in the index of the days in hospital , the total expense in hospital , the expense of drug, the expense of bed and the other expense $p<0.05); Inthe assess of medical satisfaction ,the scores of office staff satisfaction,the doctor satisfaction and the nurse satisfaction were high in the implementedgroup than in the control group . There were significant statistical differencein the index of office staff satisfaction , the doctor satisfaction and the nursesatisfaction$p<0.05).Conclusion: The present study shows that the implementation of myoma ofuterus hysterectomy pathway can reduce the average days of stay in hospital,reduce the average cost of hospitalization , standardize clinical treatment and nursing behavior effectively, reduce the repeat work , increase the workefficiency of hospital, increase the patients satisfaction, alleviatedoctor-patient relationship and benefit the doctor and patients . The myomaof uterus hysterectomy pathway can bring more economical and socialbenefits for the hospital.
