Abstract


Positive psychology in the 20th century is the earliest western arises as one of the major powers in psychology.With Seligman artificial represents American psychologist first human optimistic, happiness, curiosity, wisdom and create courage as empirical basis to the study of human virtue and potential, to help all people get happiness as a goal. This theory captured the world’s attention, and revealed functions in economy, society and so on many domains. Positive psychology theory has changed the traditional negative value orientation of psychology too tendency of status, advocating positive guidance, claiming that care about people’s own potential and good quality, to make a happy life and more human development. This is not only the reactionary to early negative psychology, but also of its development and beyond. Based on the positive psychology as the theoretical basis and analysis current our country college freshman mental health education in colleges and universities, this paper discusses the present situation of the psychological health education of the importance of implementing positive psychology theory, through the cultivation of positive psychology quality both to avert and psychological problems, strengthen the positive psychological experience, the education object fusion educators and and a positive relationship between the mental health education system perfect, using positive way such as measuring technology, active intervention, positive psychology courses and other methods, the psychological health education college freshmen to explore a new mode of university students’ psychological health education, and promote the integration of various elements and goals for effective development and the university students’ psychological health education inject more positive elements.
