Abstract

The Internet is the most typical signs of the information age of the 21st century, the use of the network has become an indispensable part of modern life. With the development of the network, Internet addiction as a phenomenon increasingly invasive University campus, and students learning, life, and health problems brought a lot of negative effects. We can not ignore the new perspective, the network psychological Internet addiction becomes a hot issue to study college students' psychological health. Self-identity is the core topic of adolescent psychosocial development, the critical period of university students is in the self-identity formation or \Therefore, the study has important theoretical significance of the core of the self-regulation system for Internet Addiction ego identity personality. Taking into account the important effect of self-identity and emotional intelligence of individuals in the context of the existing research is highly concerned about the phenomenon of College Students' Internet Addiction, emotional intelligence and self-identity is selected as the influencing factors of Internet addiction, and to explore both the effect of Internet addiction mechanism to help college students to solve psychological confusion, and reduce the College Students 'Internet Addiction and improve the level of students' mental health, has a very important significance. Institute of election of this article were 795 students from four universities, explores the emotional intelligence questionnaire, self-identity and the relationship between Internet addiction. Use SPSS17.0 and LISREL8.70 software for data processing, analysis of the characteristics of the Internet Addiction Disorder, and the characteristics of emotional intelligence and self-identity, and to explore the relationship among variables, confirmed the emotional intelligence of the network into role of addiction forecast. Confirmed through the construction of a model of self-identity in an intermediary role between emotional intelligence and Internet Addiction. The conclusions are as follows: 1. 795 college students internet addiction survey found that Internet addicts for 40 people, accounting for 5.03% of all subjects, and more consistent with the proportion of past occurrence of Internet addiction. Performance of the general characteristics of Internet Addiction: Internet Addiction showed extremely significant gender differences the boys network Addiction significantly higher than girls; Internet addiction exists differences in arts and sciences, science and engineering students network Addiction slightly than liberal arts students high; the Internet Addiction grade significant difference. Seniors and juniors than freshmen network Addiction, the seniors Network Addiction significantly higher than sophomore. 2 students in the general characteristics of the self-identity: Ego Identity significant differences in gender, girls self-identity level significantly higher than boys; Division of Arts, there is no significant difference between Ego Identity; performance The Ego Identity score in four grades, there is no significant difference. 3. College students emotional intelligence general characteristics: College Students' Emotional intelligence performance out significant gender differences, with girls emotional intelligence generally higher than boys; College Students' Emotional Intelligence Division of Arts does not exist significant differences; College Students' Emotional intelligence exist significantly the grade differences freshman students' emotional intelligence was significantly higher than the juniors. 4. Emotional intelligence and Internet addiction there is a significant negative correlation; significant negative prediction of Internet addiction. The Ego Identity Internet Addiction exist significant negative correlation; significantly negative prediction of Internet addiction. Emotional intelligence and self-identity there is a significant positive correlation. 6 students self identity between emotional intelligence and Internet Addiction partial mediating role.
