Abstract


Since the May 4th Movement of 1919 has moved, Chinese people have been struggling for pursuing the democracy, but because of lacking of correct theory instruction, this kind of effort and struggle is in darkness. In the long-term revolutionary practice, Mao Zedong unifies Marxism’s democratic theory and China’s revolutionary practice. Not only enriched and developed the Socialist democracy, but also indicated the direction for our country socialist construction enterprise in democracy construction.Mao Zedong Democratic idea is a quite systematic and comprehensive theory, which combines the Marxism proletarian dictatorship theory and China’s revolution and the construction practice. It enriched and developed the Marxism-Leninism democratic idea enormously, and it is the huge progress of human politics civilization. The agrarian revolution is the crucial period in which Mao Zedong forms his democratic idea.
