Abstract


Our country a multimedia computer-assisted language teaching more than three decades. Currently, both theoretical study and practical exploration, or in courseware developed areas such as are small. However, from an overall point of view, the superiority and the advanced nature of the multimedia computer in college English teaching practice is not yet fully be reflected. Multimedia computer-assisted language teaching application status in the current college English teaching? Students and teachers of this attitude? This is clearly a big problem, there is an urgent need to know only the current problem where, in order starting from the problem, find the appropriate The correct way to improve the quality of teaching and improve teaching and promote the research and practice of the university multimedia computer English teaching to a higher level of development. Constructivist learning theory is developed to further development in the future cognitivism from the behaviorist, a revolution of contemporary teaching theory. As information technology, especially the development of multimedia network technology, language teaching and learning activities are increasingly dependent on new teaching theory. Core multimedia computer Computer Assisted Language Learning (MCALL) in second language teaching has been widely used to promote educational theory, teaching methods, classroom teaching methods and instructional media design and development of a profound change. In this paper, the first line of the personal experience of teaching practice and student questionnaire survey and interviews and other means, to explore and analyze the real situation of this multimedia computer-aided College English teaching. \College English Integrated Course (new edition) \Through the questionnaire, the student exhibition on the achievements of the assessment of the proposed teaching program. Positive affirmation of assessment results, which confirmed that the use of multimedia computer-aided British main teaching the theory of constructivism is more conducive to improve students' English proficiency, and achieve better teaching results. Can be found from this research, multimedia computer-aided College English teaching can reflect some of the characteristics of the constructivist theory, these characteristics can better promote the college English teaching, to improve students' English proficiency. The study has certain reference value and practicality of guiding college English teachers to improve their teaching methods and improve the quality of teaching.
