Abstract


Clinical psychologist Feidengboge in 1974 first proposed the concept of \For teacher burnout research started in the mid-1970s. Studies have shown that, when teacher burnout, a low sense of accomplishment will remember. Among the many reasons that lead to burnout, the gap between the ideal and the reality is a very important aspect. And this gap is large enough, it will cause are not satisfied with the work. Many experts and scholars believe that job satisfaction is an emotional response of the individual, and this reaction from how much actual work to meet the individual needs. If you are not satisfied with such a lack of ease, and gradually it will evolve to become the burnout, in turn have a negative impact on their work. And previous studies have shown that there is a negative correlation between job satisfaction and burnout. Social environment in China, due to the public for the English given close attention, and continuously improve the degree of attention, the high school English teachers as a special group to withstand serious pressure. Level of high school English teachers to be applied to the entire education system influence can not be ignored. Therefore, the research on the relationship between their job satisfaction, burnout, and both are necessary. This paper aims to survey middle school English teachers, job satisfaction, burnout general situation to further explore the relationship between job satisfaction and burnout, and on this basis, and then proposed to reduce burnout, improve teacher satisfaction viable measures to improve the working conditions of teachers and to improve the quality of high school English teachers to provide a reference. Article briefly summarizes the job satisfaction, burnout and research background and significance of the relationship between the review and summary of previous research done. The empirical research is the main line to the three research questions aimed at investigating the high school English teachers' job satisfaction, burnout and statistical analysis of the specific relationship between the two. From five provinces (Henan Province, Shanxi Province, Chongqing Municipality, Guangdong Province, Liaoning Province), a total of 210 secondary school English teachers participated in the survey. These were gender, age, seniority, qualifications and so there are differences. Throughout the study using questionnaires and interviews as a research method. The former is mainly used statistical test for job satisfaction, burnout views, as well as the relationship between the two, the latter results provide stronger proof. The study results show that: First, the high school English teachers maintain overall job satisfaction on the middle level. In self-realization, the relationship between the intensity of work, wages, leading blood dimension of the relationship between colleagues, self-realization is the dimension of satisfaction most teachers, followed by leadership relations with colleagues, and the test indicates that the most dissatisfied with wages and work intensity ; Second, the high school English teachers experiencing moderate burnout, which is consistent with moderate job satisfaction. Most teachers feel tired this dimension of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and low sense of accomplishment both in terms of, say burnout is not so serious as emotional exhaustion; once again, through the Pearson correlation analysis found , there is a certain degree of negative correlation between job satisfaction and burnout. And specifically, job satisfaction, work intensity, wages and self-realization can be predicted burnout emotional exhaustion dimension. Low sense of accomplishment predictor variables of self-realization and leadership relations. Only the intensity of the work a dimension can predict depersonalization burnout. Based on these results, the study of the whole community, school administrators, and teachers recommendations. Improve teacher satisfaction, and reduce the degree of burnout, the three should bear the corresponding responsibility.
