Abstract


Following the Beijing Olympics as yet another international event held in China , the Shanghai World Expo will also become a global media event . In its holding period , China has not only become the focus of mainstream media coverage , the Western mainstream media to give the same degree of attention. Well, the Chinese mainstream media of the Western mainstream media have framing effect , similarities and differences between the two sides reported a concrete manifestation of the framework and its causes is something that our follow-up on the global spread of what foreign media events referential significance . Understand and study these issues , to improve our external communication , shaping the image of the country is of great significance . In this paper, select \respectively, from the reported time , the core content , source , reported that space , issues, tendentious , rhetorical , seven aspects of measurement and reporting framework in specific foreign comparison and analysis .
