Abstract

The villagers' autonomy is an important part of building socialism with Chinese characteristics, the construction of a democratic political system. Purposes of villagers autonomy not only the party and the country a great history, and are a great initiative of the majority of farmers in our country. China's vast feudal autocratic history of over 2,000 years, this historical background that hundreds of millions of farmers, villagers' self-government, to become masters of their own, their own management of their own affairs is a great event, a development in the country, has a very important significance. China is a big country in the developing countries, villagers' self-government is rooted in the soil and the connotation of China's economic and social political, cultural, and thus the village self-government by the widespread attention at home and abroad. In our country, the development of village self-government can be roughly divided into four stages of the start-up phase of the pilot phase, the overall exploratory stage, promoting stage four stages. So far, the implementation of the autonomy of the villagers has made significant progress.
