Abstract


In the present era, the ecological crisis is a serious threat to human survival and development, the ecological crisis is a reflection of tension, imbalance, and antagonism between man and nature indeed. Only construct a kind of brand new ecological civilization so as to eliminate and solve the ecological crisis fundamentally. In this thesis, Through anaysis of Engels’s major works on Ecological Civilization Engels thought to explore the methodological methods and spiritual principles of constructing ecological civilization, to clarify its main content, highlight its modern value and significance, and analyze the limitations out of the historical background, the material and ideological conditions of the times.The Thesis is divided into five parts:PartⅠIntroduction:the content and significance of this study.PartⅡis the methodology basis of Engels Ecological Civilization thought: Analyze and search the methodological basis and spiritual principles for Engels construction of ecological civilization thought, mainly discussing that the practical, dialectical and historical dialectical materialism and the views of historical materialism are the premise and support conditions of Engels Ecological Civilization Thought.PartⅢis the main content of Engels Ecological Civilization Thoughts:to explore and describe the main content of Engels Ecological Civilization Thought, including the dialectical view of nature is its theoretical basis, starting point and growing point, the bidirectional role and meaning of nature and human, Engels’covering premise, means and purpose of the comprehensive ecological civilization outlook.Part IV is the modern value and historical limitations of Engels ecological civilization outlook:to clarify and explore thinking on ecological civilization is of great value and significance to the present world, mainly from inspired meaning embodied in the object, subject, purpose, and means of human practice to adjust the relationship between man and nature. The author also tries to make a brief analysis on the limitations of Engels ecological civilization thinking in light of ideological material, scientific development, and historical conditions and times background.Part V Conclusion:Review over the text and make a summary, learn the construction method of Engels ecological civilization thought, grasp its essence, making an emphasis that human beings need to strengthen criticism, introspection, and reflection on operations methods and results of human mind while keep developing outward.
