Abstract


In this Master thesis, I use the senior athletes will scale which developed by Liang Cheng-Mou to have a research on 107 outstanding women gymnast and analysis their will quality level of development and important characteristic. Using the method of Cronbach’s Alpha for inspection, we get the result that with the overall reliability coefficient of 0.828, the scale has the very good internal consistency. After various research methods and using SPSS17.0, the survey results were analyzed and we drew the following results:(1) The main character of women gymnast is tenacity and renitency, the secondary will quality is decisiveness and self-control, the more minor will quality is self-confidence and target clarity.(2) Will level in different age paragraph develop steadily with each dimension has no significant differences. But there are blind confidence athletes exist in low age gymnast. And proper guidance should be adopted to exercise their will qualities with psychology and sports training.(3) With the increasing length of training, the athletes’decisiveness shows a ascendant trend, training fixed number of year 9-13 years group of athletes in the decisiveness is significantly higher than 2-5 years group of players. High training years of athletes have more competition experience, and act decisively to deal with problems according to field changes.(4) Will level have a balanced development in different sports grade level among the gymnast. But we must strengthen on the training about renitency and self-control among master level athletes and watching for the development of decisiveness among secondary athletes.(5) The points of primary gymnast are higher than others in renitency. (6)Beijing area professional leagues female gymnasts are better than local teams on tenacity and self-control.(7)We should follow some basic training principle (consciously enthusiasm, gradual progress and treated differently, repeatability, etc.) and methods in training gymnast, will quality.
