Abstract


Open CNC system is a set of open, interchangeability , portability and scalability in one of the open platform . This paper focuses on the design of open CNC system critical issues, from the open CNC system architecture , system hardware design, system modeling and development of software technology and other aspects of a comprehensive analysis and through the transformation of traditional CNC drilling machine verify open CNC system feasibility and correctness . Text of the main research work and achievements are as follows: ( 1 ) summarize numerical control system (CNC) and analyze the development of historical trends, explain the existing traditional closed architecture defects , and as a basis illustrate the necessity of open CNC system . Research open CNC system development status at home and abroad , to determine \programs and software architecture to provide a frame of reference . ( 2 ) The open nature of the system for CNC needs of open CNC system hardware structure design of the basic principles , the use of industrial computer and motion control card to build open CNC system hardware platform. ( 3 ) Research on open CNC system software architecture and development methodology , proposes the application of COM technology developed CNC system software. Established based on COM technology for reconfigurable CNC system software module library, library CNC system software modules defined standardized interfaces , COM-based components of the technology to write CNC system software. ( 4 ) describe interactive graphical interface information transfer process , to create a user model . According to the design of the user model and comprehensive summary of all relevant factors specific guidelines for human-computer interface design in general design principles under the guidance of interactive graphical interface library for the graphical components to prepare specific implementation. ( 5 ) to open CNC system hardware and software platform , based on three-dimensional transformation of traditional CNC drilling . Test results demonstrate an open architecture CNC system feasibility and correctness, and the prospects for future work .
