Abstract


With the development of electronic information technology , embedded systems are also various industries widely used up, such as consumer electronics , handheld devices , firewalls , industrial control, etc. . The video surveillance system is an important aspect of embedded system applications . Traffic , safety and life , which is becoming more and more important . The papers from the actual project development to build an embedded software platform based on the specific study of embedded systems in the monitoring system , the transmission part of the image to do research , how to transfer data , and how to store the data do in-depth study , and gives specific solutions , serial driver at the same time do some research , and the serial port driver . The main content is divided into three parts . The first part is the design of embedded monitoring system . Embedded systems hardware platform to the choice of processor and image acquisition module, and the final image transmission module . The second part is an embedded system platform structures , this project is based on MINI2440 development board hardware platform to produce a cross-compiler environment to compile the soft floating point , transplant BootLoader, custom linux kernel , making Yaffs root file system to build the perfect embedded platform . The third part of the image transmission module under Linux image acquisition module and Linux . Some drivers use serial devices , so that the application can achieve operating hardware . The subject Siemens MC55 GPRS communication module , the good transmission capacity and data reception and starlight electronic serial camera . To build the control part of the embedded system . On the subject in detail the basis of embedded software platform built on the serial port driver to do some research to explore the image acquisition, storage , transmission , etc. . And gave the key steps of the image transfer , the solution of the problem and the use of technology and to solve the image transfer process , combined with the specific circumstances of the project , given the embedded Linux monitoring system construction method .
