Abstract


With the rapid development of communication technology , the increasing complexity of the structure of the network system , the coexistence of a variety of communication networks , the traditional network management technology has become increasingly inadequate to meet the increasing needs of the user as well as a diversified telecommunications business development . Heterogeneous converged network management platform introduced in order to shield the heterogeneity of the underlying network communications transmission equipment , the autonomy the network management , policy-based management thinking . Policy-Based Network Management Policy (Policy) describes the configuration of the network in the specific case of network resources management rules , policy enforcement point and policy decision point as well as the realization of the strategy library and interactive , complete monitoring of network resources , analysis , dynamic management of the control , and provides a new and efficient network management solutions . This article focuses on the integration in a heterogeneous network management platform design and realization of strategic management services , the first in-depth analysis of the deficiencies of the traditional network management such as SNMP, TMN , and a detailed study of policy-based network management model proposed by the IETF . Heterogeneous integration of policy-based network management strategy model based on in-depth study and propose a hierarchical policy model architecture , and the SLA senior policy to policy information model and policy information model to strategic data model mapping relationship is described . Finally, we designed a hierarchical distributed policy management service platform and J2EE framework , Web Service and LDAP technologies such as one of the core modules : intelligent agents , policy servers and policy management tools to achieve .
