Abstract


Poly diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (PDMDAAC) is a cationic organic polymer, when used as flocculant, has good water solubility, high efficiency, low toxicity, etc.. In this study, ammonium persulfate as the initiator synthesized poly diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride, and with ferric sulfate (PFS) complex preparation of composite flocculant, systematic study of the composite coagulant in water treatment The coagulation performance. Ammonium persulfate (APS) solution polymerization initiator DMDAAC investigated the amount of monomer, initiator concentration, the amount of metal chelating agent, the polymerization temperature and other process conditions, the intrinsic viscosity of the product PDMDAAC monomer conversion rate of the trend. As the dosage increases, the two kinds of turbidity removal efficiency of coagulants little difference; when pH = 5.0, when turbidity is better than composite coagulant PFS; short, low turbidity kaolin simulate water sample, PFS compared with the composite coagulant PFS-PDM1.40 did not show significant turbidity advantage. PFS and PFS-PDM1.4 using two kinds of coagulation agents on recycled paper wastewater coagulation experiments conducted research, experiment results show that the 150mg / L (as Fe) dosage under, PFS-PDM1.40 go for papermaking wastewater rate of turbidity, CODCr removal rate were 94.5%, 46.9%, compared with the same dosage of removal under the PFS were increased by 5.2%, 3.3%, and the ratio of the composite coagulant PFS-PDM1.40 PFS has a wider The pH of the scope of the two agents in the vicinity of pH = 8.0, both with best CODCr removal. Composite coagulant used in papermaking wastewater treatment has certain advantages.
