Abstract

The chemical industry is an important pillar industry of the national economy , but the chemical companies in the production process will generally emit the complex toxic and harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs), organic waste gas has a faster diffusion and lower olfactory threshold a very large impact on the environment of the surrounding atmosphere , can easily result in a serious deterioration of the quality of the living environment around . And organic waste gas can participate in photochemical reactions and accelerate the destruction of the ozone layer , the organic exhaust carcinogenic teratogenic effects , serious threat to human health and and thus the organic exhaust governance has become a very urgent task in the current environmental protection work . This article for emissions from Zhejiang Chemical Co., Ltd. plant in the region to deepen the the remediation design specification . The emissions from the chemical plant as toluene, methanol, ethyl acetate, etc. Organic waste gas and phosphorus oxychloride, acid gas such as hydrogen chloride, chlorine . Characteristics of exhaust washing plus a low-temperature plasma pretreatment adopted the biotrickling filter processing such as toluene , ethyl acetate , methanol , ethanol , DMF volatile organic waste gas . The study showed that : the size of the order of removal capability of the biological method of single VOCs : alcohols, aldehydes , ketones and other oxygenated hydrocarbons gt ; of BTEX and PAHs gt; halogenated hydrocarbons . The the monocyclic aromatics removal capacity of a single - component order : toluene gt; benzene gt ; ethylbenzene or xylene gt ; chlorobenzene or dichlorobenzene . Engineering Practice has proved that the system is basically achieved the desired the design treatment effect , achieved good economic and social benefits .
