Abstract


With China’s rapid economic development, people’s living standards improving and accelerate the pace of life, air transport has become a popular way to travel, whether passenger or freight transport system in the proportion of integrated continuous improvement, is playing an increasingly important effect.During the period of "11th Five-Year Plan", sustained and rapid economic development of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the GDP growth rate keeps among the nation year after year. Admittedly, the rapid development of Inner Mongolia’s air transport has played an important role in promoting the development of this region economy. As Inner Mongolia’s infrastructure and security of the unit, Hohhot Airport’s development will help to further improve the regional integrated transport system and the expansion of employment, to increase the local tax revenue, and vigorously promote the airport economic growth, and it will stimulate the regional economic improvement conductively, and help to optimize and upgrade industrial structure as a regional economic development "engine" at the same time.In 2010, the company made Hohhot Airport passenger throughput in 2015 to reach 1,000 million strategic goals. How to achieve this strategic goal must be thought out as a big problem to Hohhot Airport company, we must introduce a series of initiatives to ensure that strategic objectives. However, there are many deficiencies existing in the development process of Hohhot Airport, such as the lack of strong support bases for airlines, flight arrangements are not reasonable recently which is resulting in the waste of airport resources at some time, the fewer flights, especially the lack of prime-time flight, and airline resource constraints in some cities, extension of Hohhot Airport could not make a higher contribution of the airport, and so on.The writer found through the research that Kunming Airport in Yunnan Airport Group Company, Urumqi Airport in Xinjiang Group Company and Hohhot Airport in Inner Mongolia Group Company has the similar internal and external environment. This paper summarizes the characteristics of the airport management company and the successful experience, combined with Hohhot Airport Company and operation of internal and external environment analysis of security capabilities that the development of the aviation industry Hohhot Airport has a better geographical conditions and faster support local economic development foundation and the achievement of strategic objectives and other necessary conditions. In summary, the author proposes the development of Hohhot Airport, "air base" and "Express Line" strategy, and puts forward the implementation approach of it.
