Abstract


Protection of outstanding historic buildings in Shanghai in recent years has become increasingly concerned about the protection of historic buildings, extending to the constraints of its surrounding environment. In the protection process, outstanding historic building near the modern architectural form design becomes more important. Some modern buildings to flaunt their status to ignore the presence of the historic buildings, while some tried to simply pandering to the historic buildings of modern architectural form was neither fish nor fowl. How to make outstanding historic building near the modern building neither undermine the original style of the environment, but also has the characteristics of the times, is a worthy of in-depth study of the subject. Chapter influencing factors analysis, analysis of Shanghai's history, culture, laws and regulations, the level of protection of the outstanding historic buildings where road excellent level of protection of the historic building and its morphological characteristics at the outstanding historical buildings near the modern architectural form design .
