Abstract

Objective: research hydroxyapatite-coated silk fibroin (SF / HA) film guide rabbit bone defect regeneration role . Methods : prepared by degumming SYSTEM SF film, and then by alternately dipping method Preparation of SF / HA film . 6 take nine adult New Zealand white rabbits were middle of the establishment of bilateral radial 10mm periosteal bone defect model , the experimental group , the left (SF group ) SF film roll into tubular bridge defect , right (SF / HA group ) SF / HA film bridging, control group three bilateral (control group ) without processing . Lines 8 and 12 weeks were observed after the animal diet , activity , and the general condition of the wound healing situations such as dual forelimb of lines 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks after X-ray observation of bone defect healing situation , CT reconstruction for bone defects regional cross-sectional imaging to understand bone defect repair status . Based on the above results , guided bone regeneration trend assessment . Results : The general condition : All rabbits after surgery is generally in good condition , no unusual activity , normal diet , All incisions healed without signs of infection . X-ray : two weeks after the operation , see the successful establishment of the radial defect . 4 weeks , SF visible growth of a small number of callus remote osteogenesis better than proximal ; SF / HA group showed no callus growth ; blank group were seen in the growth of callus , distal than proximal . 8 weeks , SF foreseeable significant callus growth than 4 weeks significantly increased remote osteogenesis is slightly better than the proximal callus growth of SF / HA group is not obvious ; blank group callus growth , mainly located in nearly ulnar . 12 weeks , SF visible callus further growth , the remote osteotylus the proximal callus close connection , both ends into the bone level close to the bone defect area has significantly narrowed the scope of the SF / HA were observed in a small number of callus growth , but in recent between the client and the remote still remnants of large bone defect area the blank group see osteotylus growth , distribution of defects near the ulna side , but still remained between the proximal and distal large areas of bone defect area . 4, 8 and 12 weeks after the CT reconstruction to obtain cross-sectional images of the bone defect area results support the X-ray radiography results . Guided bone regeneration trend assessment : SF group , 66.67% ( 4 / 6) , 33.33% ( 2 / 6 ) of the SF / HA group , control group and 0.00% ( 0 / 6 ) guided bone regeneration trends . Conclusion: SF film may guide the bone defect with regenerated SF / HA film can not be the need to further improve the SF - based membrane material in order to improve its guided bone regeneration .
