Abstract

Personality differences have been areas considered to be an important factor affecting the output of the second language Second Language Acquisition. Modern pedagogy and psychology of the human personality differences is divided into three parts: the difference of intelligence and prior knowledge, achievement motivation and their corresponding personality traits, learning styles. The three the role of learning styles of the learning process is more direct, and cognitive style is an important and indispensable factor in learning styles. Cognitive style of language test scores domestic research has begun to take shape. Studies have shown that cognitive style has a major impact on the learners' L2 proficiency test scores. These studies mainly from a macro point of view on the study of cognitive style, covering reading, writing, cloze, listening, translation for the English test scores. Independent cognitive style in the English language test better than field-dependent cognitive style conclusions drawn overall play. Different type of English test for cognitive style, focused on the cloze, and less hearing test scores, and only stay on the surface, there are also differences concluded, some even completely opposite. Based on previous studies found that the problems and limitations of the study itself, committed to the research field dependence and field independence cognitive style between the hearing test results from the microscopic point of view, and to study the the various segments hearing test methods and whether the gender impact of listening comprehension test results. In this paper, Bachman (1999) test performance factor model as the main theoretical basis to investigate the different cognitive styles and test methods and learning strategies and hearing test results in the testing process has sex. Study and take the amount of empirical research I teach a university Management 70 undergraduate students, before the formal test pilot test to ensure the reasonableness of the process of testing and scale. In the fourth chapter, we propose the method of correlation, factorial design with three main methods of introspection method. In the fifth chapter, we have shown from the results, the relationship of field dependence / field independence and hearing the overall test scores and sub-test scores as well as the results of descriptive statistics. Chapter VI describes the relevant results of foreign language listening test, teaching and learning revelation, and think about the inadequacies of the major limitations of the study and recommendations for future research in this area.
