Abstract


The essence of language is the tool for people to communicate with each other , is a product of human society . With the development of society, the language is undergoing change , the change to reflect the new linguistic phenomenon . Active element in the language - vocabulary contains a large number of direct or indirect information , its tone , the dynamic changes of form, meaning and convey signals of the human society . Hot words of the popular vocabulary , high frequency , the use of a wide range of vocabulary , it is generally accepted in the popular vocabulary . Hot words reflect a national phenomenon as a vocabulary , a region in a period of widespread concern and things , in particular, reflect the people to the way of life and thinking mode . This article focuses on exploring the 2010 Chinese-English Ten hot words , word formation , content , semantic analysis of the characteristics of the Chinese-English hot words , and the comparative analysis of the similarities and differences between these characteristics and explore in more and more information environment and globalization , the new trend of the development of two languages ??and influence each other. From five chapters : the first chapter , explore the study , the purpose and significance of the topic ; Chapter II , in-depth analysis of English top ten hot words , the research hot words word formation and causes ; Chapter Chinese-English Ten hot word comparative analysis found that the inherent law ; Chapter IV , in the third chapter based on exploring trends in Chinese and English ; Chapter summary.
