Abstract


The rational regional financial architecture can significantly promote regional economicgrowth. Coordinated development of the financial structure and economic growth can createpositive interaction. On the contrary, if the financial structure and economic growth areincompatible, they can not be coordinated development of the situation. In this paper, Ianalyzed the relationship between financial structure and economic growth in the region ofSichuan and Chongqing.The research object of this paper is the financial structure.Comparative studies and empirical research are used in this paper.First, this paper introduces the research background. After that, this paper combines theresearch of the scholars in the regional finance, financial theory structure, and then exploresthe qualitative development of the financial structure of the Sichuan-Chongqing regionthrough comparative analysis. Further, this paper explores the quantitative relationshipbetween financial development and economic growth of structure in Sichuan and Chongqingthrough empirical analysis. Finally,this paper concluded the corresponding countermeasuresand advices.This study shows that regional financial development in Sichuan and Chongqing is stillweak. Regional financial architecture can not be effective in promoting economic growth. It isnecessary to optimize the financial structure of the region, and enhance the level of financialdevelopment in Sichuan and Chongqing.
