Abstract


Generally believed that the verb body and state is one of the difficulties in teaching and learning in English , Chinese students and other learners of English one of the hardest to understand . Although there are many studies to solve this problem , but they focus on a tense , or only focus on the impact of the use of a party face tense . They use the data size is relatively limited. This article focuses on tense difficulty of teaching , through comparative analysis and error analysis method , describes the characteristics of the error committed by non-English majors at the University of CET compositions tense . Chinese Learner English Corpus in two sub- corpus use , and the use of social statistical software SPSS the word processing software AntConc , and office applications Excel . This article used data from two sub- corpus ST3 and ST4 . Firstly, describe the distribution of the two corpora state error , the error is divided into two sub- corpus tense tense form errors and tenses wrong choice describe the distribution , then the overall analysis of the results . First in of SPSS , AntConc and Excel help ST3 tense error analysis . Tense form of error reporting in tabular form with a stacked column chart shows . Tenses wrong choice is reporting tables and simple column chart . The tense error is divided into two categories , improper use of errors and the use of excessive errors . The two tenses Select error in tabular form . The ST4 tense spent Error analysis of the same method and ST3 . Then , on this basis , comparative analysis of the temporal errors in the ST3 and ST4 the and all tense errors were classified in 16 tense , analysis of error distribution characteristics and elaborated possible causes . Finally made ??a further analysis of the students committed tense the wrong reasons .
